Set a per-key limit on what your own provider account can be charged through InferenceDirect, independent of your prepaid platform balance.
If your key's cap is hit or the call fails, opt in to fall back to the platform key so the request still succeeds — or opt out and see the provider error directly, no surprise markup either way.
Credentials are encrypted at rest. Revoking a key destroys the encrypted material immediately — it isn't just switched off.
